I cant seem to find a blue for water that I like, Ive changed the water color many times and cant find the color that says Atlantic Ocean. This is the first bigger painting Ive done so Im proud of that .

Congrats on your first big painting! I used to get nervous before starting a larger painting, but now I enjoy painting on that scale more than on the small scale.
ReplyDeleteHi, Laura - I just found your site from Kerri's. I've had the same trouble with north atlantic water. It's often greyer and "steelier" looking than I get it. This looks like a windy day. maybe a few white caps? Wonderful work!
